Cashless payments are on the rise. They are fast, easy and convenient. Worldwide, cashless transactions have become the norm.
But Germany’s central bank and government are still clinging on to cash. Can they stop the move towards a cashless society? Our documentary shows who is behind the worldwide anti-cash lobby. Banks want to get rid of coins and bills for cost reasons, and politicians think less cash will cut the rug out from under criminals and terrorists. Central bankers want to abolish cash because it would make it easier for them to enforce negative interest rates. And digital payment companies like Paypal or Visa simply want to profit from money transactions and collect as much financial data about consumers as they can. Their aim is to gain complete control over our buying behavior. For example, the “Better than Cash Alliance” in New York is supported by financial corporations such as Visa or Mastercard. They say the more people that are integrated into the international financial system, the more growth and jobs it will promote. But as our financial behavior becomes more and more transparent, states are also using payment data to find out more about us. The ordinary citizen’s view of cash as a store of value, independent of third party interests, is being increasingly ignored. But for them, cash is and will remain a symbol of freedom.

And this is VERY dangerous too!
Debt slaves
Cashless world… a place where goverment can watch and tax your every move. They can make things illegal and you wont be able to buy them. Dont give up the little power we have.
Sheep….
Cash is just printed paper tho. One day nobody will want it and go back to gold.
This is all about ultimately allowing one man to control all of use. Just about all banks in the whole world are owned by one family group. Please are blind to what is really going on.
It might be cinvenient but world without cash it make no sense
i lived in hedelfingen for some years xD then there were three banks i think
I like Cash. Money no matter what. That's government Law. Controlling the human money. O god. That's not good.
What has this world come to I wish that I wasn't even born!!
I need cash. To control my behavior of spending.
36:56 this is a small place with 90% all white people. The people worried about this aren’t really even in this place.
Keep in mind when you do things the people in power don’t like guess what they can make up an excuse to do, that are your money out of that digital account.
18:30 the corruption is not from the people in cash. It’s from the people telling you there is corruption so they ca better control and monitor you. Fight back!
19:40 notice it’s always an old white man demanding all your info and to monitor you 24/7 because in his eyes you are a threat. Smh
He literally just argued people should less freedom. F this guy.
Going cashless is to fight corporate greed. Using cash resists corporate control. I have gone back to using mostly cash. I have saved more money doing so. It isn’t about not paying taxes. I’m tired of banks taking my profit for which they didn’t work to create. Wake up to how you are being robbed. My thousands of dollars made two cents last quarter. But every card transaction they make almost 4.00 usd and to transfer that from the bank holding to another is another fee. I have had enough of that as a business owner.
it is better to have cash in your hand rather than to connect your hand in the machine or technology that's make your body get destroy sooner or later.dont relay in technology or digital or even card you present.and it is not convenience without cash what if you didn't monitor how much money do you still have in your card whatever.so you still use your cash.
I don't get how banks have more control on our every transaction, and charge for every transaction and STILL more n more banks are going out of business?
Cash is King….you won't stop it completely!!!!!!!!!
I hate cards. I love CaSh! That's All.
Xeno
September 2021….. to me when I see cash it's so old fashioned. I love using my card. We're being spied on whatever we do.
So what will you do you Swedish geniuses, do in case of a generalized internet, power outage, solar storm etc? Oh ya, you haven't thought of that just gobbling up whatever your masters are feeding you!!!
That's true, they will be able to tract every transaction we do.thus no escape.
Block chain. Will be the future. Its not about coins and tokens its about the freedom from deflationary liquidity. Fiat will never go away but the block chain will eventually liberate the global economy from "globalism" and the centralized banking system.
Nonsense.
No mention made of the percentage of every transaction that goes to the service provider visa and the company providing the machines and facilities. Every merchant pays this percentage. Smaller merchants have to pay a higher rate. With no cash these mega companies like visa would be creaming off huge sums with no competition or alternatives to keep the amounts lower.
Hardware cost Xbox own under thousand and hour so
Cheaper doesn't cost any money store phones and credit cards cost matching and or 1000 hour so none went away one server per motherboard hasn't changed efficiency and security so how cheaper
Cash made a comback during covid. The few rich people i know all have a big bundle of cash in the safe. They don't trust there bank.
Digital payments means no privacy. what is even worse is that banks/states have complete control of your financial means. this is why I used to do most of my daily transactions in cash until about three years ago when I switch to digital payments. the convenience of digital payments was too tempting. i guess I was beaten by the system.
Going cashless = enslavement
I only use cash and will always use it
If it is cheaper to use cards now, why are we charged more to use our cards?
Tune play in the swish segment of the doc
It's. Bust. Cash because you know how much you're spending
All these people who say physical cash is better have one thing in common.
They're old or uneducated.
I already use my card so its coming folks and its gonna be beautiful to watch those capitalists squirm.
Big brother is watching our every step….. Next is the chip….. Not a good thing….
What drives me bananas, is when you go to pay, and your total is $150.00 You want to pay a $100 and the $50.00 on the credit card. But the cashier will respond, we don’t have change. I’am always just amazed by how uneducated we have allowed people to become.
When B.G involve, u know it won't be good. Like of course it won't.
Ya. I'm really crying for the banks
Getting rid of violent ppl is fine for me but imagine a drug dealer making his sales in the cashless future. He would be easy to spot cause he is on the system as jobless, but he has 10s of thousands of dollars coming to him on a regular basis, buying cars etc. He would be easy to find and prosecute.
They created supermarkets no just for ease of shopping, but they also track your movements in the store to compile and your buying habits. It's not just about ease of payment. It's a system of control.
